I. Requirements for Sweden after EP grant
I.1 Translation requirements
A translation of the claims into Swedish must be supplied under the conditions provided for in Art. 65(1) EPC.
No further requirements if the European patent has been granted in English.
If the European patent has been granted in French or German, a translation of the description into English must be supplied under the conditions provided for in Art. 65(1) EPC. The translation may also be supplied in Swedish.
I.2 Professional representative
Must not be appointed.
I.3 Period for filing the translation
3 months after the date on which the mention of the grant of the EP or the decision to maintain the patent as amended is published in the European Patent Bulletin.
I.4 Office fee
Basic fee for publication of a translation of a European patent as granted, amended or limited by the EPO, or of a correction of a published translation: SEK 2 500
Fee for amendment of a translation not yet published by PRV of a European patent: SEK 900
II. Double-patenting allowed?
Simultaneous protection by national patents is not excluded.
